Congratulations Kimberly!

Congratulations to Global Skills Ingleburn participant Kimberly on achieving her 6-month employment milestone.

After dedicating years to raising her children, Kimberly, 34, was ready to return to work. She joined Global Skills Ingleburn in March 2024 where she was connected with her Employment Consultant Stacey. Kimberly was hoping to find a role that matched her interests and skills while fitting around school hours. She found it at Right at Home Macarthur Penrith.

Kimberly completed her Certificate III in Aged Care/Nursing at TAFE 10 years ago and gained some experience working in the field at the time. She also has a passion for helping others, which is reflected in the volunteer work she does within her local community. With that in mind, Stacey connected Kimberly with Global Skills Marketer Ven who set up an interview with Right at Home knowing the role would suit Kimberly’s skills and needs.

Following a successful interview, Kimberly was offered the job and remembers, “Stacey further supported me with the required uniform including shoes and petrol vouchers to help me get started.”

Kimberly has been with Right at Home since July of last year and shared, “It’s the perfect job for me. Right at Home is really flexible. They ask about my availability and give me shifts during those times. It means I can still do school drop-offs, pick-ups and after-school activities. I also love the work. I get to meet new people and hear their stories. I like helping people. I’m supporting them in living a life they wouldn’t be able to manage on their own.”
