After devoting over 5 years to her children, Zeina joined Global Skills Campbelltown in April 2023. With support to recognise her transferrable skills and enhance her administration skills, Zeina transitioned into full-time work. As she approaches her 6-month milestone, we’re proud to see Zeina thriving in her role. 

Global Skills Employment Consultant Rebecca worked with Zeina to identify transferrable skills and determine her employment goals. Zeina’s experience as a mother of 4 equipped her with essential work skills such as organisation, multitasking, and problem-solving, which she was eager to apply in a childcare setting.

An opportunity arose for Zeina to complete a Cert III in Business delivered by Arc Training at Global Skills Campbelltown. Rebecca knew that this could equip Zeina with administration skills, an understanding of business operations and skills for childcare management roles which would make her more attractive to childcare employers.

Zeina graduated on 29 November 2023 and began her role as an educator at a local childcare provider on 4 January 2024 where she continues to be a valued member of the team. 

Reflecting on her journey, Zeina had this to say: “My Employment Consultant Rebecca Jarvis is a wonderful, caring person. She keeps me motivated and calls me regularly to check if I need any additional support.
