Last week, Global Skills had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the ‘Mingaletta Youth Yarn Up’. This event invited Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young community members to connect with local youth services and activities on the Central Coast.

Our Transition to Work (TtW) Manager, Chloe Butler, along with representatives from local services including Bara Barang, PCYC Umina Beach, and RYSS (Regional Youth Support Services), shared insights about our programs and discussed how we can support our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth together.

Chloe commented, “I left feeling motivated by our continuing connections to support services and being connected to culture. I would like to thank Aunty Di and the team at Mingaletta for the opportunity to participate in this positive event.”

Mingaletta is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community hub based on the Central Coast.
