Ahead of International Youth Day tomorrow, Global Skills Transition to Work team hosted a special mini youth event at Global Skills Wyong today.

Our young people had the privilege of hearing from Peter and Sara from Adecco Recruitment Agency and Danielle from TLK Community College, gaining insights into opportunities available now on the Central Coast. With 4 young people registered to do their First Aid on Monday with TLK and 3 young people completing interviews with Adecco, plus pizza for lunch, the day was a great success.

Here’s what one enthusiastic attendee had to say, “It was a great day and I learnt a lot. Very informative! Thanks for the pizza.” And from Adecco, “This was a great opportunity to connect with Global Skills and the Transition to Work participants. Great outcomes and some job interviews completed on the day. Youth employment is a priority.”
