Congratulations to Trinity, a job seeker at Global Skills Gosford, for securing a Certificate III Dental Assistant Traineeship with Reeves Dental Surgery at Umina Beach.

Trinity, aged 17, joined our Transition to Work (TtW) program in October and was connected with Employment Consultant Lauren. Trinity’s goal was to start her career and gain qualifications at the same time through a traineeship.

When a Traineeship opportunity arose at Reeves Dental Surgery, Lauren recognised Trinity as the perfect candidate and sent her resume to Reeves the same day. Trinity was soon invited to interview.

Lauren helped Trinity prepare for her interview, and Global Skills also supported her commute. Trinity aced the interview and, after a successful job trial, was offered the Traineeship.

On hearing the fantastic news, Global Skills ensured Trinity had all she needed for her new role, including mandatory First Aid certification and a uniform.

Trinity started work on 10 January, and the employer has since praised her capabilities, remarking, “Trinity is amazing; we’re grateful she’s with us.”

Trinity added,  “I am very thankful to Global Skills for helping me to gain this opportunity and for all the support I received, especially in the first few weeks of my Traineeship. I am really enjoying working at Reeves Dental Surgery, the other staff members are so helpful and supportive.”
