Global Skills extends our thanks to the Central Coast Community College for supporting 9 job seekers gain the accredited Provide First Aid qualification at Global Skills The Entrance.
On Friday 27 January, Central Coast Community College Workplace Trainer Andrew Gliddon delivered the four hour, hands-on course to a group of Workforce Australia and Transition to Work participants. Andrew outlined the correct procedures in applying first aid and how first aid can save lives in the critical time before emergency services arrive.
Global Skills WFD/Community Engagement Officer Jennifer Juderjahn and Employment Consultant Melissa Becroft commented, “The training room was a buzz of positive activity throughout the course. Our job seekers found Andrew easy to follow and all spoke very highly about the training,” and, “Today was an absolute success. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the training. They were all engaged with Andrew and found him very easy to follow.”
The Entrance Job Seeker and course participant, Steven, confirmed, “I learnt a lot form this course, things I haven’t been taught before. The way it was taught was perfect for me. The knowledge was shared in an easy manner to understand.”
Congratulations to all participants.
Thanks to Central Coast Community College Training Coordinator David O’Brien and our staff at The Entrance for your support on the day.
