Last week, Global Skills had the privilege of participating in the Central Coast Future Choices Expo, presented by Career Links, and run in conjunction with the National Disability Coordination Officer Program and the NSW Department of Education Support Teachers. 

Held at the Mingara Recreation Club in Tumbi Umbi, the Expo was a valuable opportunity for young people with disabilities and their families to connect with a range of services. Attendees could explore options related to employment, education, disability support, and government services, all under one roof, to make informed decisions about their future and available support as they transition into life after school.

Our Community Engagement Coordinator Jennifer, and Executive Manager Simon, spent the morning engaging with students and their families to showcase the various post-school opportunities provided through Workforce Australia, Transition to Work and Disability Employment Services.
