Global Skills and Uniting NSW.ACT work in partnership to deliver GSPlus, our mental health service onsite in selected sites across Greater Sydney and via telehealth services across all our service regions. Global Skills job seekers are able to access a range of allied health professionals including Registered Psychologists who have experience in supporting individuals experiencing poor mental health.

Uniting NSW.ACT mission is to create a better future for the people and communities they serve through social justice advocacy and community services. Services include aged care, retirement and independent living, early learning, disability and community services.

CatholicCare

Global Skills and CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay work in partnership to deliver GSPlus, our mental health service in the Sydney North and West Region. GSPlus job seekers are able to access a range of allied health professionals both on and offsite including Registered Psychologists who have experience in supporting individuals experiencing poor mental health.

For over 35 years, CatholicCare has been providing support for communities across the Northern Beaches, Northern Sydney and the Central Coast. Their commitment is to uplift individual, family and community wellbeing through their diverse array of services. All members of the community are welcome and they embrace every background, belief and circumstance.

LikeMind

LikeMind (Parramatta Mission) appointed Global Skills as their Vocational Consortium partner for their Seven Hills and Penrith offices in 2016.

LikeMind provides support to adults with mental health concerns, as well as their families and carers, bringing together existing community services to one accessible and engaging community space to develop an integrated service hub of co-located help and support.

Global Skills provides customers of LikeMind individualised employment and training support, working alongside LikeMind’s allied health and community specialists, to secure ongoing and meaningful employment outcomes.

DARE Disability Support

Global Skills and DARE Disability Support have established a collaborative partnership with a focus on creating vocational pathways for participants.

DARE has been a trusted provider of quality services for people with disabilities in the Blue Mountains, Nepean, and Hawkesbury regions since 1961. Founded by parents who sought better opportunities for their children, DARE continues to grow and diversify while remaining dedicated to its core values of care and compassion. As a registered NDIS provider, DARE offers a wide range of services tailored to meet the evolving needs of individuals and families. 

Both organisations are confident that through collaboration and shared expertise, we can increase our collective impact and create meaningful change in the communities we support.

Global Skills and Wayback work in partnership to provide wrap around services to our job seekers as they transition into the workforce.

Wayback is a charitable Alcohol and other Drug Rehabilitation service providing rehabilitation treatment for those experiencing significant social, legal, health and family problems due to addiction.

At Work OH&S

At Work Occupational Health & Safety has been supporting Global Skills and our job seekers for more than 10 years. 

As a business, they are committed to supporting our broader community with any psychological, and work-related injury management and rehabilitation needs.

Working in partnership with Global Skills, At Work OH&S provide our job seekers with personalised solutions and assistance – from job seeking to sustainable employment.

Their team of experienced Allied Health professionals include Psychologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors and Occupational Therapists.

Together, they design and deliver integrated assessments, solutions, and ongoing support to individuals and their organisations.

Evolve Housing

Global Skills, in partnership with Evolve Housing, offers additional support for job seekers living in social housing in South West Sydney through the Opportunity Pathways program. This voluntary program helps our job seekers to access additional employment, training, and work opportunities while remaining with Global Skills. 

MECA Mt Druitt

The Mount Druitt Ethnic Communities Agency (MECA) and Global Skills have established a collaborative partnership with a focus on young people, refugees, and migrants in Western Sydney.  

Through collaboration MECA and Global Skills continue to implement strategies that socially and economically benefit people by developing their readiness for work and education opportunities.    

This partnership will support the overall service delivery to young people, refugees, and migrants in Western Sydney with a view to improving employment opportunities for all. A notable initiative includes the delivery of employability workshops with the MECA mentors in various schools across the region.

Aboriginal Employment Strategy

The Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES) recruitment services model provides career seekers with access to a large range of employment opportunities nationally, culturally-competent mentoring up to six months after their placement and access to tailored pre-employment training programs that are linked to guaranteed jobs.

Global Skills and AES have developed a long standing partnership designed to streamline the employment process for Indigenous job seekers and mentoring support as they transition into employment.

Trilogy Disability Services

Global Skills and Trilogy Disability Services have partnered to support job seekers with disability across NSW Central Coast and Northern Sydney.

Trilogy is a trusted NDIS registered service provider with over 30 years of experience, offering a wide range of supportive services including coordination of support, community and respite care, as well as Supported Independent Living.

This partnership will focus on job seekers currently engaged with Trilogy who are interested in exploring vocational pathways. Our aim is to support them in building their readiness for work and educational opportunities.

Odyssey House

Global Skills and Odyssey House NSW collaborate to deliver personalised services for job seekers, ensuring they receive the support needed to successfully transition into the workforce.

Operating for 47 years, Odyssey House NSW provides trauma-informed recovery-oriented treatment, support and educational services to address harms associated with alcohol and other drug (AOD) use. They provide a wide range of support services to help individuals and families reconnect with their lives.  

This partnership highlights our commitment to delivering quality, tailored support through collaboration, equipping individuals to achieve their career goals and fostering personal growth.

National Workforce Network

Global Skills is a foundation member of the National Workforce Network established in 2014. The NWN is an alliance of jobactive providers across Australia committed to collaborate in delivering tailored recruitment services and workforce diversity planning for employers.

By combining organisational capacity the NWN members can deliver recruitment strategies to employers with a regional or national footprint or that large scale recruitment.

Working across a number of local markets the networks centralised coordination process gives employers free access to a greater pool of candidates – saving time and money.

The network is unique in Australia and has been recognised at the National Employment Services Awards for Excellence in Industry Collaboration.

Global Skills is pleased to be a bronze member of the Australian Disability Network.

The Australian Disability Network (ADN) is Australia’s peak body helping employers to build the confidence and capability to welcome and include people with disability as employees and as customers.

The ADN is the only employer led network in Australia focused on the inclusion of people with disability.

As a Disability Employment Services provider, our membership reinforces our commitment to fostering inclusive and diverse workplaces. 

National Employment Services Association (NESA)

Global Skills is an active member of the National Employment Services Association (NESA).

NESA is the peak body for Australia’s world-renowned contracted Employment Services.

Global Skills Director, Rebecca Nicholls, is a member elected Board Director of NESA and is a Member of the NESA Audit and Risk Management Committee.

We partner with NESA as our major PD training partner to offer our workforce unlimited and weekly access to industry specific and tailored skill development training courses.
