The 47th Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival begins this Saturday 14 February. With international performers, parties, theatre, community events, and more, the festival will wrap with the world famous Sydney Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday 1 March.
The theme for the 2025 Festival, ‘Free to Be,’ celebrates the progress we have made towards LGBTQIA+ equality, while reminding us that there’s still more work to do. Referencing the theme, Gil Beckwith, CEO of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, said: “Free To Be is a manifesto of what our community has desired and fought for, and the reason why we will continue to fight and celebrate for generations to come.”
Global Skills is committed to fostering an environment where everyone is free to be themselves. All our offices display ‘Welcome Here’ rainbow stickers, to let everyone know that LGBTQIA+ diversity is welcomed and celebrated amongst our job seekers, staff, employers and the wider community.
