Global Skills is pleased to continue our partner membership with CDAA (Career Development Association of Australia) to support the delivery of our employment services, including our Career Transition Assistance program.

The Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA), is Australia’s cross-sectoral community of career development practitioners. CDAA members aspire to be leaders of excellence in career development.

CDAA state their “members are a vibrant and diverse national community who share a collective interest in career development; and a desire to promote its ability to effect positive change and growth in the lives of all Australians.

“Work-related needs and preferences evolve and change continuously throughout life. At the same time, the world of work is continuously evolving and adapting to economic, political and social changes.

“Career development focuses on enabling people to understand and develop their skills and preferences to manage these challenges, make good decisions about their working lives, and maximise their contribution to the communities in which they live and work.”

As a CDAA partner, Global Skills conform to a Professional Standards Framework and a Code of Practice. Dave Zammit, Global Skills CEO as a professional member of CDAA himself states, “Our CDAA membership provides significant value to the design and delivery of our services whether our staff are assisting employers with workforce planning or job seekers who are requiring assistance to make occupational or study decisions, or further plan their careers.”
